Good Shepherd Prepares Chapel for Advent

Members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church pitched in Saturday at the Florence Crittenton House downtown, preparing both the Chapel and surrounding areas for the upcoming Advent season. Both young and old rolled up their sleeves and dug in until the job was done.
It was a full, yet productive day, and seeing the chapel sparkle in the afternoon sunlight made it all worthwhile. Pastor Sandeno invited all the ladies at the Crittenton house to join Good Shepherd members for a worship service in the newly refreshed chapel followed by a Thanksgiving day feast in the dining hall.
The chapel will continue to be used throughout the Advent season, with Wednesday night services beginning November 30.
