William Thomas Sans was received as a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and this congregation through Holy Baptism on January 7, 2007.

John and Earlene Graudin come to us from Island Lutheran Church on Hilton Head Island. John, who is Boston-born and Earlene, a Tarheeler, began their marriage in Alexandria, Va. where John pastored Bethany Lutheran Church for 25 years from its infancy. He then was called by God to be the first resident pastor of Grace in Summerville, SC where he served until his retirement in 1992. They loved their "retirement sojourn" on the island, but are content to be back near two of their children and three grandchildren here. Another child, a son, pastors a church in Easton, Md. John and Earlene now live in Grand Oaks and are expecting to move into their new home in Carolina Bay during March. We are glad to welcome them "aboard."
