Last month noted the possibility that a facility could be made available for our use that was large enough to house both church and school. While we may have thought it a perfect fit, in God's wisdom, it was not right for us. And as such, the property was not made available for lease to us. This means that we continue to plan, we continue investigate opportunities, and above all, we continue to pray.

In the planning category, we have determined that the community supports the idea of a Christian school and desires one. From here we move forward with the formation of the Board of Christian Education, which will begin to formulate policy and a community identity for the school.

Secondly, we continue to keep our eyes and ears open to possible locations. While we are working on long term locations that may not be available for several years, we should also look for interim locations that would provide for both church and school for up to as many as five years.

Finally, it is most important that we keep our sites on the goal which is eternal life with Christ. In this part of the race, we pray that God keeps this vision clear for us, so that our efforts now might produce the lasting fruit through the nurturing of future generations of Christians.
